This year’s Nancy A. Maloley Outstanding Public Servant Award is presented to the Honorable Theresa Lazar Springmann, Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Judge Springmann was born in Gary, Indiana, as the third of four children and the granddaughter of immigrants from Ireland and Russia. In 1977, she graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University Northwest and graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1980.
